My wife Sherri and I live in New Braunfels, Texas and have
four wonderful children-William 13, Georgianna 9, Grace 7, and Wayen 4. I am originally from Austin and my wife is
from Houston. We both met while attending
Texas Tech University in Lubbock. I
graduated from Texas State University with a B.A. in History and my wife has a
B.S. in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. I will complete my
M.A. in Education from Michigan State University in the Fall of 2014. I have
worked as both a technician and as a manager for AT&T for 17 years and
continue to progress upward in my career there.
I hope to retire in the next 10-12 years and plan on teaching, coaching,
and writing full time once I retire. I have been both a paid and volunteer
coach since I was 16 years old. I
attended college on baseball scholarships and have been involved in coaching
and instruction since then. I was encouraged very early to share what I have
learned with others and have continued to follow that advice for my entire
life. Our family enjoys a very busy life filled with work, school, and youth
sports activities. Our lives are devoted
to providing rich experiences and life opportunities for our children and we
love watching them grow up. In my spare
time I enjoy reading, writing, music, and drawing. For a bit more about me
